About Exploring Wildlife

First of all, welcome to my blog, and thank you for having a look around!

Almost five years ago now, at the age of 10, I decided to start a wildlife blog. I had been reading other great blogs, and I thought that starting one myself would be a great way to not only record sightings and wild experiences, but also maybe to try and persuade other people to get outdoors and experience nature for themselves.

This blog is where I share my wildlife sightings and experiences in the shape of text, photos and videos. I also use this blog to write about issues or other topics relating to wildlife or conservation, and to share news or some of my work.

I hope you enjoy your time on my blog, and be sure to have a look at the other pages and popular posts on the blog. Thank you.

About Me
My name's Thomas, I'm 15, and I'm a young wildlife blogger, aspiring conservationist and trainee bird ringer. I'm interested in wildlife and nature, the science behind it, and conservation, with a particular passion for rainforest conservation. Writing about nature, I find, is a great way for me to further explore and develop my interest - I have written for the British Trust for Ornithology and the Rainforest Trust in the past, and am looking to write for magazines in the near future. Thank you for taking the time to explore my blog and I hope you enjoy reading some of my work!
